From the yoga mat to journaling circles, from the stage/screen to henna parties — my life is a mix of movement, creativity, and community. This website is my way of weaving those threads together and sharing them with you.

I work as a journal therapy coach who believes in the power of guided reflection and shared space. I facilitate journaling circles, workshops, retreats, and individual sessions designed to help people navigate change, deepen self-understanding, and feel less alone in their process.

After completing my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa and Hatha styles, I went on to become certified in Chair and Trauma Informed Yoga. My focus is on movement, breath, and meditation to calm the nervous system. You can find me teaching live in my online studio on Zoom, at corporate wellness events, and retreats. Learn more here.

Writing, singing, playing guitar, painting, and acting are some of my favorite ways to be creative and express myself. Since 2002 I've been lucky to have a Henna Body Art business doing parties and events as well as teaching.  

My guitar and I helped start a music and healing program at a local hospital in Jackson, WY. Here's a link to the album I recorded of relaxing cover songs I played for patients and the nurses. In the last few years, I've started acting again in commercials, film, and tv where I live in LA and have been writing a solo show web series. As an entrepreneur over the last 27 years, I've learned a lot about running my own business. I've also spent over 15 years working inside businesses as part of successful teams. Knowing what it takes to lead a business, as well as to follow, helps me understand the big picture. 

As a graduate of the US Chamber of Commerce four year program - Institute for Organization Management (IOM) I am skilled at assessing all aspects of your business whether you are running a for-profit, non-profit, B-corp, or sole proprietorship.

Whether it's online or in person, community is everything to me. Finding She Recovers and volunteering with the organization, has changed the way I think about mental health, connection, and all things recovery. As the founders, Dawn NIckel and Taryn Strong say, "We're all recovering from something."
